FLAMA is located in Houston’s Second Ward, within the East End Cultural District, a community with deep cultural roots and creative energy.
The school will serve students from the 2nd, 3rd, and 5th Wards.
Historic Building.
Our future campus will be housed in the former Folgers Coffee Plant. Built in 1938 as the third Folgers plant in the country, the building is listed on the National Register of Historic Places.
Its preservation honors Houston’s industrial and architectural legacy.
Renovation.
The building is currently being renovated into a modern school campus with dedicated spaces for music, arts, and academics.
The campus will support FLAMA’s mission by providing students with an environment rooted in history and designed for creativity and growth.
