Daily music, choir, instruments, and visual arts are woven into the academic day, with literacy and math built in throughout. Opening grades: K and 1st in 2027, growing to Pre-K–8.

Teachers show children how to do each task. Children practice with help, then review until they can do it on their own, in school subjects and the arts.
Children learn to plan, stay organized, keep trying, and work with others. Music and art give them daily practice with these skills.
Music and art are core subjects, not extras. Daily general music, choir, instruments, and visual arts sit inside the academic day, with literacy and math woven through.
A sample day at FLAMA. The final schedule will be shared before school opens.

Every morning, students and teachers greet one another by name before learning begins.

Music every day builds focus, memory, careful listening, and disciplined practice.

Daily reading and writing practice helps children understand texts and express their ideas.

Students learn through instruments and choir. The schedule is being developed.

FLAMA is developing partnerships to provide free breakfast and lunch daily.
Lunch is time to eat, talk, and laugh. Have a question about meals or your child’s dietary needs? Email info@flama.org.
